Mischa Hillesum (1920-1943), brother of Etty Hillesum, was regarded as the one of the greatest piano talents of the Netherlands in his time. Among others, the conductor of the Concertgebouw Orchestra, Willem Mengelberg, admired his piano skills.
Both gifted, and with a mind close to insanity, Mischa Hillesum conquered the hearts of his audience.
